What the bars are measuring
The California config uses 3,000 total hours, 1,750 of them direct clinical counseling, including 500 with couples, families, and children, a 1,250 maximum for non-clinical work (supervision you receive counts there), 104 supervised weeks, and 52 weeks with individual or triadic supervision. A week counts when it has one hour of individual or triadic supervision, or two hours of group. The note on that config says to verify current requirements at bbs.ca.gov.
