An AMFT hours tracker that does not collect client names
Associates working toward LMFT licensure in California keep a weekly log: direct clinical counseling, the hours inside that total spent with couples, families, and children, non-clinical work, and the supervision they received. The Board’s published totals are 3,000 hours and 104 supervised weeks. This page starts from those figures.
A supervised week here means at least one hour of individual or triadic supervision, or two hours of group. If direct counseling in a week is over 10 hours, the sheet asks for a second supervision unit. Forty hours is the weekly maximum in the default config, and six is the supervision maximum. You can change any of those numbers. The config still says to verify current requirements at bbs.ca.gov.
